This was purchased from Letgo for $15 and restored for a wedding gift. It has to be one of the biggest hunks of rust that I have ever hauled home, but you have to have the vision to see beyond the surface rust. It was missing one of the prongs on the plug, and one of the thumb screws. The previous owner said that it was left in one of his rental properties, and then he used it in his shop. There was so much filth on it, that I actually vacuumed it before cleaning it with a wire brush. Sand-blasting, rattle can painting, and polishing has given this fan a new life. It went through quite a transformation, and is now a daily runner. This is a very classic looking floor fan, and is very under-rated for the amount of work that it does on a daily basis.
